Black Jack - A Special Occasion

A special occasion demands a very special & slightly ridiculous hat.
On the other hand… it’s still better than his ugly fedora from Black Jack 21.

My dear Black Jack (), please don't panic. That ticking noise is not a bomb, it's only a brand new alarm clock. Well, I could make a very, very long list of gifts, which I would actually get him for his birthday but most of them would be X-rated, so I'm gonna keep them to myself and he already owns the best gift which I could give to him anyways... my heart.

Now Black Jack, charter a plane, come over here and let us celebrate our 'special days' (aka birthdays) together (as you all know 9/6 = Kuroo Day). I still have some cake left especially for you and I already cut it... with a with a scalpel!

Clean & simple colored sketch done in SAI (more or less for my personal entertainment in order to cheer me up a bit to prevent me from getting depressed). I actually only wanted to try out a new pose and sketched around for a while and somehow ended up with this. To be honest, I'm more or less a very straight and serious person but I can be very silly on rare (or special) occasions.

Did a lot of thinking, if I should really add this to my gallery since it is just a sketch but when I went back to check up on my old stuff, I thought it's actually not that bad compared to... well, my old stuff.
